Monday 17th of October
Today we and Nico discussed our idea for our radio production idea as we thought a change was necessary to make our radio production more unique and interesting. Nico's new idea was the story of a future in which Russia decide to attack the United Kingdom and go to war, we decided that this idea was a massive improvement and that this is what we were going to produce. The reason i liked this idea so much is because it was very different to the other group ideas and that it would be very fun to make. With the amount of sounds we could use to create a very interesting story I was very excited to educate myself with logic pro so that i will be ready to edit when the time comes.
Tuesday 18th of October
Today we had a very different lesson with Helen to show us how to use logic for the editing process of the radio production. This helped me out a lot as i had no prior knowledge of logic and as editor I needed to get used to how to use it for the future. The lesson taught me how to create a new project and to import and cut up sounds to create something and play around with the different tools to gain a better understanding of logic pro. After a few minutes I had created a small song using the preset sounds in logic pro and learned a lot on how to do the basics of the program.
