Camera Operator : There responsibility of a camera operator are to assemble and to prep equipment ready for the crew to use. He has input into what the shots look like and he should give advice about if the shot is good or what type of shots should be good for that particular scene. Repairing an maintaining equipment is the operators responsibility and he should treat his equipment with care.
the skill he need to do his job efficiently are to be able to correctly operator a camera and the different techniques to get the best shots for the scenes he is filming.he also need to be able to use the equipment he is in charge of and to be able to set all the equipment up safely so that all the crew are safe from the electoral equipment
although this job is open to all graduates and diplomats the following subjects provide a useful background. the subjects for a camera operator are media studies, performing arts, photography,film or television, journalism and media production.
pay rates as a camera operator varies form job to job but the average pay rate for a ten hour job are £285 for a factual or documentary, for a commercial its £411 and for TV news its £227 but pay rates can be negotiated for this type of profession and also freelance camera operator depends on the type of program or film you are filming. for example someone on a feature length film like "Edge of Tomorrow" would get a lot more than someone on a TV program or commercial and the camera operator Ben Wilson worked on the film "Edge of Tomorrow and was paid between 32000 and 48000 salary
working hours for this profession can be long and irregular and my include night shifts depending on the production you are working on, you may also need to be flexible with your work load and be prepared to be called in on short notice. fro example are camera operator "Ben Wilson" was on the set and worked on game of thrones had very flexible work hours and worked on many other after and before but he didn't work on the show for very long and this is very common for this profession, when he worked on GoT he was involved in 39 eps which is a large portion of the show and will most likely be involved in season 5 this April
you responsibility as a camera operator are to keep everyone safe for the equipment you are using and the equipment you put together for the rest of the crew to use, they must make sure that there equipment doesn't cause injury that will untimely be your fault.

Director : as a Director you must be prepared to lead a small and large crew to make your production, you will be working on a range of productions from commercials to music videos to full feature length films.your main job is to make creative decisions that can guide the rest of the crew to making a great finished product that you and the rest of the crew can be proud of. you job responsibilities will include meeting producers to discuss where the production is going, commissioning a script or in a situation involving a documentary to create the idea for the documentary,you will also have to interpret scripts and to develop storyboards. you will have to hire the cast and crew and guide the technical crew and for Alan Taylor all theses responsibilities would have been to be insured to the creation and production of "Game of Thrones"
the skills as a Director are to be creative and imaginative so that your production is unique and fresh for the audience, good communication with your cast and crew so that you have a good connection with them and that they are easier to work with and can make your creative idea a reality. you need the abilities to lead people and to motivate others to get the job done and to create the production if things go wrong. you must have excellent organisation skills so that problems with budget and time do not occur and compromise the production, as a Director one of your skills must be able to decision make and to make compromises for the production so if problems do happen they can be fixed or avoided if they happen again. as a Director all these skills must be used to insure that the production is a success and that it gains a profit. "Game of Thrones" are a prime example of the skills that are used to make a production, its renowned success shows that when a good Director is chosen he can really make a incredible and entertaining program.
As a Director you need to have some good Qualification in the field to actually get hired for the job as Director or to be able to make a excellent production of your ideas and i Director can start at the bottom of the industry and work his or way to the top becoming i directors for small productions to feature length films.
you are to a extent responsible for all of the cast and crew and if accidents do occur under your authority then it is your fault. your job is very important in this production of the program so for example what happens in ''The Crow'' where the main lead was shot but a fack black but something happened by accident and unfortunately killed Brandon lee on set. this is a prime example of why safety should be accounted for.
for a Director income is very negotiable and it varies a lot depending on what type of production you are making.it also depends on your track record and the other types of productions you have been working on and the budget is also a contributing factor. on recorded the minimal pay for a Director for a feature length films is about £.115,920.for the annual mean wage.
in this profession shifts can be very irregular and can often be long and tiresome but this also depends on the demands of a production and when it need you. that means that for this job freelance is very common and is usually the normal way to do shifts in this profession

Producer ; as the head of operations a Exec producer your have many responsibility to maintain during the production of the program or film. the director must listen to the producer and must follow what his or hers decisions are,they must and always secure the rights for books and screenplay which in this case wasn't a issue as the writer of the books was the producer of the program. money is also a job for the producer and how the budget is used, if a decisions is poorly made then this can effect the overall way it is going to be made this is why a producer has to have good jujment on the choices they made.
the skills they would need are pretty common with any high ranking media job. they will need solid experience in the TV and film industry and you need to be trusted to know what you are doing rather than being un experienced. leadership and management abilities are very important, you need to be able to lead your crew to there goals and to keep motivation running especially the director and the producer.
the entry requirements for this type of job are that you need to be experienced in both creative and business sides of film making and the media industry and will need a in-depth understanding go the production proposes how it all work otherwise you wont be able to do your job.to get to a producer you can work form the bottom to the top through the media industry in various was for example being a assistant for i director or a producer to getting more and more experience in that job and to start working on your own productions in the future.
as of most media jobs I really varies depending on the type of work you are doing and the amount of job history you have in the business and the sort of track record you have with other movies in the industry.many thing can come into play for the amount of income for example the budget, if it was used well then more money can be used on the wages for the production but if it is used badly then obviously the opposite will happen. but the annual average salary for a producer is about 180,000 dollars so if your a well experienced one it can really pay if if done correctly
most of this type of job is office based but you would visit studios and locations for meetings and to look at the overall work of the productions. the hours are very long and irregular as you will be managing most if not all of the management of the program but you must be prepared if you are needed somewhere at short notice as it could be a important meeting or part of the production
