Work for Wednesdays lesson

The film i have chosen is Spirited Away which was released in July 20th 2001 in japan the target audience would be about 9 to 10 on wards and is a PG in rating (http://forums.thedigitalfix.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-188882.html) it is for all genders but most of the characters are female but it is not centred to a general gender .The film is a Japanese animation or (anime) and so its location was released in japan and primly for that country until it was dubbed in English and released to the rest of the world (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirited_Away).The awards it won are the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 75th Academy Awards, the Golden Bear at the 2002 Berlin International Film Festival (tied with Bloody Sunday) and is among the top ten in the BFI list of the 50 films you should see by the age of 14.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirited_Away) and it premiered on the 20th of september. Well known news paper the new york times reviewed the film and they said " The beauty of the animation, a skilful blend of hand-painted foreground and well-placed computer background, works to generate the storytelling. It makes all the characters distinct in appearance and keeps them from looking as if they're drifting a couple of inches above the ground." (http://www.nytimes.com/movie/review?res=9504E0DB1030F933A1575AC0A9649C8B63) because it was a japanese film i couldn't find much of the info i wanted to because when it was relesed to the west it wasn't really widely publicised and the reputation of Studio Ghibli and Toho was enough for it to succede in the western world and become one of the best and most well known anime films in history.it was the most grossing film in japanese history and bested titanic in the grossing amount of money it made worldwide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirited_Away)
