Light is the was we and cameras see.light hits the lenses which sends it to a microchip and then to a motherboard to make sense of the image so it can make it back into a picture.

Hard light
-define shadows
-adds depth
-ambience
-looks more interesting(aesthetics)
-Hard light is direct

Soft light
-less shadows
-Soft light is defused light
-3 point lighting
-brighter
-Describe=connotations
-Analysing=distractions

I have seen different types of light eg:hard light and soft light. the use of these light are very different,theres the back light to illuminate the back ground and the main light that illuminates the foreground
