Camera Operator
- A interest in photography, film and video = I have always been interested in art and photography and just the way you can capture things with a camera i did a art GCSE and got a B so art and photography has always been a interest. at a young age i have been interested in film and me and my dad have always had a passion for watching movies. - you need to have a interest in photography and film because these are the things you are going to be dealing with. if you do not like these things then you will be bad at your job and will not enjoy you job. if you are bad at your job then you be fired and will not be hired for future jobs if you are bad at it
-The ability to work as part of a team = although i have things that stop me for communication well with offer people for experience i feel that i can work well within a team environment. when we where working on the documentary we all listened to each other on haw to get the best of of the time we had and as the camera operator me and the director both listen to each other when deciding what shots to take. - communication in a team is very important for you and you team mates to get ideas and tasks across to get your jobs done. if communication is not good or you don't work well with others the project you were working on will fail and possible not be complete
- Good practical skills and knowledge of using camera equipment = was camera operator and most of the filming projects. when we where put into groups to film something for example in my first year i was the camera for a 5 minute horror film called dead revenge that was nominated for a Georges award in are collage .i was mostly the camera operator on that project and was full time camera operator on a documentary in my second year. - you need a good practical use in camera equipment or you will have no idea how to do your job and will be bad at your job. if job hirers know about your job experience and know that you have no good practical skill in camera operator then they will not hirer you

Video Editor/Camera Operator
- Good computer skills = i have or consider myself to have good computer skills and have a good knowledge of how computers work and how some software works. in the case of final cut pro and apple macs i have experience with both of these in collage which i have used for 2 years and know the basics of how the software works for final cut pro but for hardware my experience is in PCs and a bit for macs - you will need to have a good knowledge to edit you videos and films or your film will never get finished and you will get fired if you can not complete your job at a good standard and if you are in a group yin could cause them to fail.
-The ability to work as part of a team = all of the projects i have worked on i have and my team mates have worked well to create something good that has succeeded for example the documentary we did this year, team work worked very well for us and we got the project done in time and well apart from some errors - if you do not have good ability to work as a team then you can not decide on anything and the project will go nowhere and will fail a swell as your group who could possible fail or lose there job
- willingness to work long hours when necessary = if i have to i will work late to complete something or some kind of project or coursework that needs to be finished but i do have a problem with deadlines which i am improving on but i can do work into hours to complete work for example my English work and media course work which i have worked into the night to finish them - you will need to be able to work into long hours because if you ca not do this it can cause more work than you can handle and your work load can get to great and cause problems for you and the project you are working on

ENG Camera Operator/Editor
- you need high creativity level = if you are going in this industry you will need a good idea of creative ideas as you will be working as a editor and as a camera operator. i have used my creative ideas while i was filming the documentary for are media unit - you will need creativity ideas for this line of work because if you don't the project could be very bland and boring when it is finally finished and you would not be able to add you own thing to the films themselves
- Experience in News and On Air operation = you will need this as it will help you when there are on air operation such as in live events where you cant really mess up the shots and always need to be on exact at all moments in case the shots need to be changed . i have no experience in this so as i go through media i will need to learn these skills so that i can use them for jobs in the future
- a camera / editing style consistent with metropolitan television = as i have improved my camera techniques over the time iv been at collage i feel i have learnt and know a basic understanding of how these things work and why they are important to a camera operator or a film editor = you will need this because most shows will be run by a set of consistence when filming television and there are rules to be followed while filming theses types of programs for any television network.
