Generic - you can apply generic to any genre
Sub genre - when you start to mix up the genres
Narrative structure - the typical ending and the typical beginning
Props - broken down vehicle,the costume

Action films where more masculine in the 80s than it is now because of the time they where made.During the 80s the cold where was happening and women's rights where becoming more equal. People like Arnold and Sylvester where casted to make more people fell more impressed by americas power and that man are these giant muscular hero or villain
